These pictures were taken on Friday at the beach in Muizenberg when the sun broke through the rain clouds for part of the day. Sunday, this beach was packed with people because it was actually warm! We spent the afternoon wandering through the local flea market and walking a path along the beach to the neighboring towns (St. James and Kalk Bay). Today, Hans is back in staff training and I'm enjoying one of my last 3 days of freedom before the SBS begins on Thursday. These several weeks of transition time have been a great way to begin our lives here in South Africa. They may not be indicative of what the rest of our time here will be like, but they've helped us adjust to being here. I think we're both ready for things to really get started! We know there are good things in store...
