Today, for our final practice teaching of the 3 week Titus training, we were divided into teams to do a 5 hour seminar in which we taught the Inductive Bible Study method through a small book of the Bible. Our team taught the book of Jonah and our hypothetical audience was a rural community in Zimbabwe. Our goal was to teach them how to use the inductive method as a tool for studying the Bible for themselves. Even though it was a practice teaching, it was valuable experience. It made us excited about traveling and teaching in the future! (We are praying about an opportunity Hans has to teach in Swaziland in February.)

This weekend two Titus teams will be heading out to teach what we've been learning for the past three weeks. One team will be going to a nearby township where they will work with a church, facilitating leadership and Bible training and a relationships seminar. The other team will be traveling to Swaziland to teach, as well as to recruit for a 3 month School of Biblical Studies that will be taking place in Swaziland in January. After this, the two teams will join together in a local township that YWAM Muizenberg has been working in, building relationships and connections that we hope will lead to future opportunities to do year round Bible training. We are excited to see the training that takes place on our campus extending to the communities around Cape Town.
